Take a walk around your home and look for any small holes or gaps. A mouse can squeeze through a gap as small as ¼ cent, you’re looking for any gap or hoe in your walls that is that size or larger.

The mouse is most likely to run along the edge of the baseboard and then turn to the trap. Facing them this way will help to ensure the trap catches them and doesn’t just feed them.

Poison bait boxes are a great idea for mice. The mice will often take food back to the net before they eat. That means if one mouse takes the poisoned bait, you can kill several mice in one go.
